Are you ready to register with CLPNBC?

You must meet several requirements to register as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in British Columbia.

All applications are done online. The registration process is different depending on whether you were educated in BC, elsewhere in Canada or abroad. Click on the applicant type that best describes you to learn more about your pathway to registration with CLPNBC.

Before starting an application:

Arrange for 2 pieces of current (not expired), government issued ID showing your legal name to be notarized.

  • ID must clearly show your face, name and signature; all other information must be clear and visible.
  • We do not accept the following ID: Social Insurance number, Bank or Credit card; ID that is expired; ID that does not match your application or legal name.

Complete and arrange for the statutory declaration form to be notarized.
